Operation Gratitude is a local charity that nationally serves the men and women in our Armed Forces. The Battalion Buddy program provides a teddy bear to a child who’s caregiver is going to be deployed. Children all over the United States receive a token of comfort while their family serves. CHQS is donating a bear for each office equipment order placed in 2017. While CHQS will take care of the details, the bear is donated in each individual company’s name. We are thrilled to be able to partner with Operation Gratitude this year and look forward to overwhelming children with joy.
Other Charities We Support
Maynard Strull was a part of the CHQS team from day 1. His “retirement” meant working in the office in CHQS’ early days. In fact, some of the rubber bands in our supply closet are still from the set he ordered years ago. He passed away in 2014 after a diagnosis of Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. In addition, many of our current team members have had similar experiences with their own families which we would like to honor as well.
Jessica Leoni is a 19 year old blessing to the Leoni family. Tony and Lisa have fought for Jessica in so many ways, especially with the Fight NPC team. Charcot-Marie-Tooth is a rare and chronic degenerative nerve disease. A long-standing customer and supporter of CHQS has this disease, but often spends their time fundraising for other charities.
