Sharp Walk Up Sensor: Ready When You Are

By May 11, 2016February 18th, 2026No Comments1 min read

One of the new features of the Sharp Office Equipment product line is the Sharp Walk Up sensor. What does that mean?

Before this technology, a person would have to walk to the machine, press a button to notify the machine that it was ready, wait for the machine to wake, then program their job. Now with the Sharp Walk Up Sensor, a person walking toward the piece of equipment is detected and the machine turns itself on to ready mode within ten seconds. The machine is ready and waiting for your job when you are!

Multiple machines utilize this technology! In fact, the machine in the CHQS office has this feature and our team loves it. Want to experience it yourself? Schedule a demo with your Account Manager. Think of how much time is wasted in the waiting – what would you do with the time you gain back?
