  • New customers pay their invoice on time when the invoice is received on paper, versus late payments with e-mailed invoices
  • There is a 30% difference in the need for payment reminders when invoices are sent by e-mail. Only 29% need reminders when there is a hard copy invoice sent
  • The case study showed it cost $3.25 per customer to get paid by paper invoice and $5.75 per customer billed by e-mail.
