It happens all the time, you need service or supplies and the person who normally places the request is out of the office. What do you do now? We’ve shown you what information you need for placing those requests, but how do you find the information you need?’
The most important thing you will have to do is identify model and serial number for your machine.
- Check you customer care tag. Your Customer Care Tag is from Copier Headquarters directly and tells you the model and serial number of your machine. PLUS is has all the phone numbers and e-mail addresses listed, so no more searching. Here is an example of what our Customer Care Tags look like:
- Check the touchscreen (if applicable). Using the Control Panel (the technical term for the touchscreen), press the button labeled Machine Status. The model and the serial number will be on the left side of the screen
