What is a convenience stapler?
A convenience stapler is an accessory for office equipment (not just for Xerox equipment) that allows staples to be placed automatically. The convenience stapler sits adjacent to the mainframe of a copier. It is a way to staple documents while reducing clutter around the copier machine. How much does it cost? A convenience stapler can be ordered as an additional accessory or at the same time as an upgrade. Ask your Account Manager if this accessory is the right choice for your office environment. The great thing about a convenience stapler is that it works with a multitude of machines. If your office would function better with sporadic stapling rather than staple functions in the finisher, a convenience stapler is the cost-effective option. What does it look like? Normally, a convenience stapler is less than a cubic foot and sits on the side of the machine. It can also be purchased with a tray. It comes with staples already in it, but has refillable cartridges. Staples are not included in the supplies section of a maintenance agreement. To order a refill of staples, e-mail supplies@chqs.com and indicate the part number.
What machines is it compatible with? A convenience stapler works with almost every model of Xerox machine. From the WorkCentre series to the production C60/70, a convenience stapler can easily be added to enhance the use of your Xerox office equipment.
